Dear friends, our beloved mother Carole Hitti passed away on 5 September 2026.

Carole was a deeply loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her life was guided by her steadfast dedication to the Bahá’í Faith and her lifelong commitment to serving humanity. She touched the lives of people and communities around the world and will be deeply missed.

Carole’s graveside and memorial services will be held on Friday, 11 September in Cortez, Colorado.

Graveside Service – Friday 11 Sept. 2026 at 1:00 pm – Cortez Cemetery

Memorial Service – Friday 11 Sept. 2026 at 3:00 pm – United Methodist Church. 515 North Park Street, Fellowship Hall

If you are able, please bring something for afternoon tea to share following the service.

We would also love to gather stories, photographs and short videos celebrating Carole’s life. These memories will be shared with her family and preserved as a special keepsake for her grandchildren.

The services will have a floral theme in honour of Carole’s love of nature and colour. Those attending the graveside are warmly invited to bring a flower from their garden to place with Carole.
